This page is for you if you want customers to pay by card and are choosing a terminal, or already have one and want to connect it to Flexy POS. Flexy works with every option below: the cashier presses "card", the amount goes to the terminal by itself, and the result comes back to the bill. Nobody types the amount twice.
Paying by card does not do away with the fiscal receipt. Flexy prints it through the fiscal device, just as for cash. More on that: "Card payments and the fiscal receipt".

Bank POS terminal
If you already have a terminal from your bank, you usually don't need to replace it. Flexy works with bank terminals through BORICA.
While you are talking to the bank, you can ask for one more thing: that the terminal stops printing the merchant's copy of the card slip. Flexy keeps the payment details, so you don't need the copy, and you save paper. This is optional, your choice.
Once the bank has switched the function on, add the terminal in Flexy: „Организация“ (organisation) → „Устройства“ (devices) → „Добави“ (add) → „Картов терминал“ (card terminal). Then, in each till's settings, choose it in the „Картов терминал“ field.
Datecs terminal from us
Datecs card terminals, such as the BluePad-50 Plus with 3G or Wi‑Fi, and BlueCash registers with a built-in terminal, are requested through us. The process is entirely online:
- Choose the terminal at shop.flexy.bg and place an order.
- In your portal account, fill in your company, site and bank account details.
- The portal prepares the completed request to Datecs Payment Technology. Download it, sign and stamp it, and upload a scan back.
- We check the documents and send them on. The terminal arrives ready to work with Flexy.
If the same order includes a fiscal device, the portal also prepares the declaration for its НАП registration, and there is one terminal request for the whole order.
myPOS terminal
With myPOS, the contract and the account the money is paid into are with myPOS, not with a bank. Registration is online:
- Open a free business account at mypos.com.
- Complete the identity and company check myPOS asks for at registration.
- Choose a terminal, or use your phone with myPOS Glass (see SoftPOS below).
Then add the terminal in Flexy as a card terminal and choose it in the till's settings.
Viva terminal
Viva.com is also a separate provider with its own business account. Registration starts with the create-account button at viva.com and a few questions about your business. Viva.com checks the company before you can take payments.
Once the account is active, connect the Viva terminal to Flexy the same way, as the till's card terminal.
SoftPOS: paying on a phone or tablet
SoftPOS turns an Android device with NFC into a terminal: the customer taps their card or phone on it. You need no separate terminal, which makes it handy for waiters taking payment at the table, and for delivery.
There are two ways:
- The staff member's Android phone or tablet, with the Viva.com Terminal or myPOS Glass app. According to Viva.com, their app runs on Android 8.1 or newer with NFC.
- A device from us, such as the BC-05, which also works as a terminal.
In Flexy, SoftPOS is added to the device itself: in its settings, under „Картов терминал на това устройство“ (this device's card terminal), press „Добави картов терминал (Viva.com Terminal)“ (add card terminal). The till on that device then charges cards through it.
How to choose
- A bar or shop with one till: the bank terminal if you already have one, or a Datecs terminal from us.
- A restaurant with waiters: SoftPOS on their phones, or a portable terminal, so customers pay at the table.
- Delivery: SoftPOS or a terminal with 3G.
- A hotel: a terminal at reception, linked to its till. If the hotel's restaurant also takes cards, it can have its own terminal or SoftPOS.
Some sites must accept cards: restaurants and accommodation categorised two to five stars (Art. 117 of the Tourism Act). Details are in "How to open a restaurant, café or bar".
The terminals we offer are at shop.flexy.bg. If you are not sure which option suits you, ask us. Card payment fees depend on your contract with the bank or provider, so check them there.
