Datecs Pay card terminal with Flexy: BlueCash and BluePad-50 Plus

This page is for you if you take cards with a Datecs Pay terminal: the reader in BlueCash registers or a BluePad-50 Plus. When the cashier presses "card", Flexy sends the amount to the terminal and the result comes back to the bill.

BlueCash-50 register: nothing to set up

The BlueCash-50's reader is built in. Flexy adds it by itself when you pair the register and links it to the register's fiscal device. Under „Устройства“ (devices) it shows as a card terminal with the note „Вграден четец, деклариран от машината“ (built-in reader, declared by the machine).

BlueCash-500, or a BluePad-50 Plus on a computer

1. Connect the terminal: on a BlueCash-500 with its cable to the register; on a computer with a USB cable to the computer running Flexy помощник (the Flexy helper).
2. In Flexy, open „Устройства“ → „Добави“ (add) → „Картов терминал“ (card terminal).
3. If you have several boxes, choose the one the terminal is plugged into.
4. Under „Модел“ (model), choose the brand „Datecs Pay“, the terminal „Datecs Pay ПОС терминал“ and the connection:
   • „Вграден (BlueCash BC-50 / BC-500)“ (built in) for a BlueCash;
   • „USB кабел (сериен COM порт, 115200 8N1)“ (USB cable, serial COM port) for a computer. Press „Сканирай портове“ (scan ports) and choose the terminal's port.
5. Under „Терминал“, fill in „Идентификатор на терминала“ (terminal identifier: letters, digits, dot, dash or underscore) and „Име“ (name).
6. Under „Регистър“, in „Следва регистър“ (follows register), choose the fiscal device whose day the payments belong to.
7. Save.

Link the till to the terminal

Open „Работни станции“ (workstations), choose the till, and under „Фискален принтер“ choose the terminal in the „Картов терминал“ field. If you leave it empty, the till takes cards on a standalone terminal and the cashier types the amount by hand.

Card slip and end of day

In the terminal's settings you can switch on:

• „Автоматично копие на картова бележка“ (automatic copy of the card slip);
• „Приключвай терминала при автоматичния Z на регистъра“ and „Приключвай терминала след ръчен Z отчет“ — the terminal's day then closes together with the fiscal day.

You can also close the day by hand: in Flexy POS, „Операторски действия“ → „Край на деня (терминал)“ (end of day, terminal). The terminal prints „ОТЧЕТ КАРТОВ ТЕРМИНАЛ“.
