You need this article if your device warns you that the fiscal memory is filling up, or shows "ФП е пълна!" (fiscal memory full).
What the fiscal memory is
Every daily Z report is written to the fiscal memory (ФП). The records cannot be deleted or changed, and they are kept even when the device is switched off. Space is limited: on the FP-700 MX, FMP 350 X and DP-25 MX it holds 3,650 reports, or about 10 years at one Z report a day.
What the warning means
When there is room for fewer than 60 reports left, the device reports it. That is about two months at one Z report a day. You keep working as normal, but it is time to call your service company.
"ФП е пълна!" means there is no room for a new daily report and the device cannot record a Z report. Call your service company straight away.
How much room is left
On the FP-700 MX and FMP 350 X, print the diagnostic information from the menu (the "Диагностика" item). The service receipt shows the total number of fiscal report records and how many are free. For the other models, ask your service company.
What to do
- Call your service company.
- Have the fiscal device passport ready.
- Arrange the replacement while you still have free reports.
The service company will tell you whether the fiscal memory or the whole device will be replaced. It will also help you change the device's registration with НАП (the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency), as Ordinance Н-18 requires. For your specific obligations towards НАП, ask them or your accountant.
Do not confuse it with КЛЕН
КЛЕН (the electronic journal) is a separate memory, usually an SD card, with copies of all receipts. It can also fill up ("КЛЕН е пълна", journal full), and replacing it is also a job for your service company.
