Start here if you have just received a BlueCash-50. It is a portable Android fiscal register with a 5.4" touchscreen, a printer for 58 mm paper, a bank card reader (contactless too) and a small customer display. Some variants also have a barcode scanner. It can run Flexy.
What's in the box
The register and a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable. Optionally, there may also be a USB Type-C power adapter and a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. If there is no adapter, ask your supplier which charger to use.
Charging and switching on
The register has a built-in battery and charges through the USB Type-C port or its contact pins.
- Connect the register to the charger.
- Hold the On/Off button until the screen lights up.
- Wait for Android to start.
- Open Flexy.
To switch the register off, hold On/Off and choose power off on the screen. The battery level is shown in the Android status bar. Besides On/Off there are two volume buttons, and the scanner variants also have two scan buttons.
Connecting
- Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz: join the venue's network from the Android settings.
- 4G: the register has two nano SIM slots. The connection to НАП (the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency) goes over the mobile network.
- USB Type-C: for charging and for connecting to a computer.
Daily Z report
The Z report (дневен Z-отчет) writes the day's turnover to the fiscal memory and the electronic journal, and resets the daily registers. Run it once, at the end of every working day with sales.
The easiest way is from Flexy. If you use Datecs' own BlueCashPos app, which comes on the register, open Главно меню → Отчети → Z-отчет (Main menu → Reports → Z report). The same menu has the X report (no reset), which you can run at any time.
If something is wrong
If the register stops printing, check the paper and the cover ("Blank receipts or jammed paper"). Do not open or repair the register yourself. For a fault, or a problem with the fiscal memory or the НАП connection, call your service company.
