Start here if you have just received a BlueCash-500. It is a desktop Android 11 fiscal register with a large touchscreen, a small customer display and a printer for 80 mm paper with an automatic cutter. It can run Flexy, and you can connect a payment terminal, a barcode scanner and a cash drawer to it.
What's in the box
The manufacturer does not publish a list of the contents. When you unpack, check that you have the register, a power adapter (12 V, 4 A), an 80 mm paper roll and the fiscal device passport. If anything is missing, call your supplier.
Switching on and off
- Plug the adapter into the wall socket and into the register.
- Hold the On/Off button until the screen lights up.
- Wait for Android to start.
- Open Flexy.
To switch the register off, hold On/Off and choose power off on the screen. The register also has a built-in battery, and two volume buttons.
Connecting
- LAN (RJ45): a network cable to the venue's router.
- Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz: from the Android settings.
- 4G: a SIM card slot. The connection to НАП (the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency) goes over the mobile network.
- Bluetooth 5.0: for wireless devices, such as a payment terminal.
- USB: one Type-C and four Type-A ports, for a scanner, keyboard and more.
- DRW: cash drawer output.
The battery and connections (Wi-Fi, mobile network) are shown in the Android status bar.
Daily Z report
The Z report (дневен Z-отчет) writes the day's turnover to the fiscal memory and the electronic journal, and resets the daily registers. Run it from Flexy once, at the end of every working day with sales. The X report (no reset) is a summary you can run at any time.
If something is wrong
If the register stops printing, check the paper and the cover ("Blank receipts or jammed paper"). Do not open or repair the register yourself. For a fault, or a problem with the fiscal memory or the НАП connection, call your service company.
