Start here if you have just received an FMP 350 X. It is a small battery-powered fiscal printer that you carry with you: on the terrace, on deliveries or at an event. It connects to the phone or tablet running Flexy.
The box and charging
The box contains the printer, the installation and operating manual, the fiscal device passport (keep it), one paper roll, a mains adapter (9 V, 1 A) and an interface cable.
The printer has a built-in Li-Ion 7.4 V, 2000 mAh battery. To charge it, plug the adapter into the wall socket and into the printer. The two LEDs on the panel show one of three states:
- adapter connected, battery charged;
- adapter connected, battery charging;
- adapter not connected, battery not charging.
The battery level is also shown on the display.
Switching on and the buttons
- Press the power button.
- Wait until the display shows the date, time, battery and signal.
To switch the printer off, press and hold the same button. It can also switch itself off when not in use. Your service company can set after how long: never, 1, 2, 5, 10 or 30 minutes.
The joystick can be pressed in the middle like a button or pushed in four directions. With no menu open:
- the middle feeds paper;
- right opens the menu;
- up prints the daily Z report;
- down prints the daily X report.
The power button also exits the menu. The printer beeps when it starts. Your service company opens the settings by holding a button while switching on, until the third beep. You will not need this.
Connecting
Connect the printer over USB with the cable from the box, through the mini USB port. Bluetooth works only if your printer has the Bluetooth module fitted (it is an option): pair the printer with the phone or tablet and select it in Flexy.
The display shows the active interface, USB or Bluetooth. The connection to НАП (the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency) goes through the built-in modem and SIM card, and you do not need to set it up.
Daily Z report
The Z report (дневен Z-отчет) writes the day's turnover to the fiscal memory and to КЛЕН (the electronic journal), and resets the daily registers. Run it once, at the end of every working day on which you had sales, refunds (storno) or cash in/out entries.
The easiest way is from Flexy. From the printer itself:
- Make sure the printer is in its normal working state, with no open receipt and no open menu.
- Push the joystick up.
- Confirm printing as the display prompts you.
The date and time can only be changed after a Z report.

Service
Do not open or repair the printer yourself. For a fault, "Трябва сервиз!", or a problem with the battery, fiscal memory or the НАП connection, call your service company.
